"Within my 13 years experience of recruiting for the Health, Social Care and Education sectors, I have supported clients to find experienced staff to fit within their teams and have helped job seekers to find their dream roles, within a variety of different settings.

This has included recruiting for residential homes, supported living services, secure units, housing associations, mental health hospitals and mainstream and SEN Schools. I have provided professional and talented staff to teach, care and support.

The role has opened my eyes to some of the difficulties faced in the industry and I believe recruitment issues should not be one of them.

I am passionate about finding the perfect role for applicants that are eager to care for others and thrive to place them with clients looking for skilled and qualified staff.

When I am not working I love to spend as much time with my family as possible. I have been with my husband Steve for over 14 years and we are coming up to our 10 year wedding anniversary. We have little boy called Archie and little girl- Taylor, who keep us on our toes.

I am a huge Harry Potter fan which could be classed as an obsession! I like to go out for meals, spend time outside and socialise with family and friends"

"I'm a very passionate person and have real experience running a business. I started my own company back in 2017 where I have taken my plumbing and heating business from an idea to one of the most recognisable business in the area. I have made sure with my company (Afterglow Heating ltd) that customer satisfaction is the number one priority.

When my wife Nikki talked about the idea of creating her own recruitment company back in June 2022 I supported her straight away. For me this was a no brainer as I have watched my wife's career from when she started in recruitment, to where she is now. There is not a better person I can think of to build a company with, than Nikki. Her passion towards helping people less fortunate, and to help candidates and clients find a perfect match makes her the perfect partner.

When I'm not working I spend time with my family Nikki, Archie our son and Taylor our little girl. We like to be outside as much as we can even if it's raining and we all get muddy. I also am very into playing golf and I like to go and watch my local football team Southampton fc."

Lauren has joined the Hunts Recruitment Team to assist with the onboarding of our clients temporary workers. She is also supporting with the office admin.
